We made an early risk assessment of the situation. Partly to ensure raw material for production. Partly to make sure that we take good care of each other. We have kept our distance, we have used hand sanitiser and everybody has worked hard, whether they have been busy at home or in production.
I am proud to be in charge of a company where we have been able to pull together and handle serious challenges and lift heavy tasks during a difficult time with the corona pandemic.
We are looking forward to a very busy fall
For the first six months of the year, we have been steaming hot both at BSB Industry and BSB Poland. We are on the verge of reaching DKK half a billion in revenue, and despite the corona virus, the month of March was record setting with over DKK 50 million in sales.
At present, it does not seem that the corona virus will affect our sales and revenue negatively. We are looking into a busy fall, where we will focus strategically on the sale of Anchor Cages Kit Set and other total solutions for wind, offshore and traditional industry.
In addition to being busy in production and office operations, the first half of the year has for BSB Industry included a new wave of CBI optimization roll outs. We got off to a good start in the new program, which provides a much better overview and offers opportunity for performance management.
