In BSB Industry, we appreciate and support that the issue has been raised, because it is important that we as a society and company create and maintain a working environment with a proper tone without any kind of harassment, and where it is completely safe for any individual to set one’s limits for what is acceptable, and what is unacceptable.
The steel industry has a reputation for being tough, where the tone can be harsh and rough at times. The fact that the we as industry are male-dominated can also help affect and degrade conversations and behavior to a level where not everyone feels comfortable and well treated.
We want to state firmly and clearly, that BSB Industry is and must be a workplace where all employees can feel completely safe and comfortable in all aspects, and that no kind or forms of harassment have any place with us, as our employees are the most important asset we have.
