At BSB Industry, we are particularly proud to have been nominated for the Sustainable Development Goals Award in Kolding Municipality for our efforts within the area of obtaining sustainability in our business. It's worth mentioning that we, among other things, make use of 100 percent green wind turbine electricity and climate-friendly, CO2-neutral welding gas as both initiatives provide significant climate benefits.
Nature is close to our hearts at BSB Industry. We care deeply about the climate footprint we are to leave and the world we pass on to our children and grandchildren.
Therefore, in 2023, we set up a number of sustainable initiatives and climate goals. First and foremost we aim to reduce CO2 emissions and production waste by 2030, and it is our ambition to contribute to renewable energy production on all continents by 2050.
Of course, not all is joyful and merry. At BSB Industry, the year 2023 has also presented challenges to us, as the entire wind industry has been under continued pressure. Fortunately, we are looking into a future where renewable energy sources like wind will be the rock foundation in the fight against climate change.
