Newly hired Quality Assistant will maintain, develop and execute QHSE in BSB Industry

Susanne Nielsen is appointed to a newly created position as Quality Assistant. She joins BSB Industry with a broad experience from working as quality assurance specialist (QA) and quality controller (QC) at a chemical factory, a chewing gum factory and the accredited laboratories at the universities of Odense and Aarhus.

- Working with quality, the environment and the working environment has been the focus of my entire professional life, and I look forward to bringing my qualifications into play and contributing to the continued development of QHSE in BSB Industry in close collaboration with the Head of QHSE & CBI, Winnie Fedders, and my new colleagues, says the laboratory graduate Susanne Nielsen.

QHSE & CBI are of the highest priority

The development and prioritization of quality, health, safety and the environment have for many years been pillars to the BSB Industry strategy, just as the entire sustainability issue is receiving great attention from the company, its customers, partners and the outside world.

- Our high level of ambition within QHSE and continued business improvement (CBI) is chiseled into our strategy, which is made visible on posters at central places in production and in the office corridors. But if it is to be more than just decoration on the wall, the strategy must be activated. With the hiring of Susanne Nielsen, we have added a capacity and the necessary extra resource to ensure that we can maintain, further develop and execute on QHSE, says Head of QHSE & CBI in BSB Industry, Winnie Fedders.

Work tasks range widely

One of Susanne Nielsen's most important tasks will be to help ensure that BSB as a company maintains the high level of quality that customers demand. This is achieved, among other things, by working on the development of the existing quality assurance system and the maintenance of ISO certificates. In addition, Susanne Nielsen will play a major role in the green transition, where issues such as energy consumption and reduction of CO2 emissions are central.

- BSB Industry has a strong focus on quality, the working environment and the environment, and the opportunity to work in a company that puts high priority on QHSE has great appeal to me. As a person, I am naturally curious, independent and inquisitive. In combination with a rock-solid professionalism, it is my hope that I can help implement improvement projects that benefit my colleagues, our customers and the outside world, Susanne Nielsen emphasizes.

On the private side, Susanne Nielsen lives in the city of Vejle, located on the east coast of Southern Jutland. She has two sons who live in Copenhagen.
