Business Development Manager
BSB Industry is searching for a Business Development Manager - Offshore Steel Structures, for our new site in Świnoujście, Poland.
Join a growing international manufacturing company and take a key role in expanding our offshore business. You will work closely with the CEO and Plant Director and have direct impact on commercial strategy and market growth.
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business within the offshore sector, building strong client relationships, and shaping our commercial direction in close collaboration with executive management.

Responsibilities and tasks
Business Development:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across domestic and international markets
- Actively acquiring new customers and manufacturing contracts within steel structures, with a focus on offshore
Sales & Commercial:
- Leading commercial negotiations and preparing proposals in close cooperation with technical and production teams
- Monitoring tenders, market developments, and investment projects to maintain a strong pipeline
- Developing and executing short- and long-term sales strategies
Collaboration & Execution:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with investors, EPC contractors, and key industrial clients
- Working closely with the CEO, project teams, and internal departments to ensure successful onboarding of new clients and projects
- Representing the company at meetings, trade fairs, and industry events
Performance & Follow-up:
- Maintaining accurate sales forecasts and supporting financial planning
- Supporting post-sales activities, including client follow-up and contract optimization
- Contributing to profitability analyses and continuous improvement of commercial performance
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven profile who can work independently and proactively identify and capture new business opportunities within the offshore and industrial sectors.
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- Solid B2B sales experience within steel structures, manufacturing, offshore, energy, or related heavy industries
- A strong ability to independently generate leads and drive the full sales process from prospecting to closing
- A good understanding of manufacturing processes and project-based execution
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Professional English proficiency enabling confident business communication
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as part of the role
- A results-driven mindset, high level of independence, and strong business acumen
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with forecasts, budgets, and commercial planning
- The ability to collaborate across departments and build strong internal relationships
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience from offshore wind, oil & gas, or related industries
- Knowledge of Scandinavian, German, or UK markets
- An established network within steel structures, maritime, or energy sectors
